Setting up auto-recharge
Set a low-balance threshold and a refill amount — SMSLocal tops up your wallet automatically before it runs dry so no campaign ever stalls or stops mid-send.
Auto-recharge is the single most popular billing feature on the platform. Set it once and forget wallet top-ups forever.
How to enable
- 01Billing → Auto-recharge → Enable.
- 02Pick a threshold — when balance drops below this, the refill fires. ₹2,000 is the popular default.
- 03Pick a refill amount — ₹10,000 is the default.
- 04Authorise a saved card or e-mandate from your bank. UPI AutoPay is also supported.
- 05Confirm. A small verification charge (refunded within 7 days) goes through on card methods.
You'll get a Slack/email alert on every auto-recharge so finance always knows. If a refill fails, we send two reminder emails before the balance actually hits zero.
