How do I register a DLT Principal Entity?

Register as a DLT Principal Entity using your PAN, GST certificate, and an authorisation letter. Approval typically arrives in 24–72 hours on most Indian operator portals.

Every business sending commercial SMS to Indian numbers must register as a Principal Entity (PE) on at least one operator's DLT portal. Registration is free. Once registered, your PE ID propagates to all operators within 48 hours.

Documents you need

  • Company PAN card (scan, legible).
  • GST registration certificate.
  • Authorisation letter on company letterhead, signed by a director or authorised signatory.
  • Contact details of the authorised signatory (mobile and email).
  • A chosen six-character header (e.g. SMSLCL, CAREIN).
